Baltimore families have a variety of schools from which to choose: public, private and parochial schools, that teach our thousands of children their A-B-Cs, the 3-Rs, and more. Baltimore City Public Schools

Baltimore City Public School System

The Baltimore City Public School System has charge of the education for approximately 90,000 of Baltimore's school children. The Baltimore public school system maintains nearly 180 schools throughout Baltimore City.

Two representative Baltimore public school Web sites are: Francis Scott Key Technology Magnet E/M School, which focuses on instructional technology; and The Baltimore City College, a high school with a strong liberal arts focus. There are several good "public schools" in Baltimore, but unfortunately, none have been provided with Web sites by the school system. The schools with Web sites, have created them on their own.
